Bungalows

Nestling within the grounds of Porto Taigun are two delightful bungalows. Surrounded by native trees and shrubs, they look out across the garden to the river. A network of paved pathways wind through the greenery to the outdoor kitchen and dining area next to the pier, where coconut palms shade a large wooden deck with sun loungers and freshwater shower.

The bungalows’ clever design, covering 28m2 in brick and wood, incorporates ventilation screens to allow cooling air to circulate freely while keeping insects out. Mosquito nets are provided for beds.

Each bungalow has a bright, airy bedroom which can be configured for a kingsize double bed, or two singles. Bungalow 2 has a mezzanine, with a further 2 beds. Both have their own separate walk in shower, washbasin and toilet, with a small outside garden watered by recycled rainwater. Each has its own terrace with seating and hammocks.

There’s a fridge inside the bungalow for drinks and provisions, and the open air kitchen and dining area has a gas hob and range of cooking utensils.
